This only works if you are not guilty and the cop made things up.
If it is a bogus ticket the cop relies on you just paying it to avoid more financial loss and you are found guilty by a corrupt judge.
If the ticket is bogus and you do show up the cop won't and the ticket is thrown out.

People need to remember that ALL traffic stops are discretionary. If you are driving a fast car/race car, you will get pulled over more. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying.
