apparently u can turn some of these assists off and the game provides this option immediately. despite that u cant turn it all off so overall the complaint is valid

Really a perfect portrait of everything wrong with AAA games. they have pipelines to build these systems they use over and over again and systems on systems to make sure the player is never lost, but they have no tools for experimenting and figuring out what the actual game is supposed to be or all…

I think reviewers often forget how desensitized they are to standard game language. You pick up on patterns immediately because it's your job, but for casual players, that readability makes a game feel smooth rather than patronizing. Accessibility shouldn't be treated as a negative.
