The hilarious thing is, they bring up the original Unmaker as a good weapon for the Slayer...when it actually wouldn't work on Chief at all. Not that he actually NEEDED IT considering he had probably five other weapons that would reduce Chief to pink mist. The original Unmaker only works on demons …

Coming back, I have a head canon why they were immediately hostile to each other.
In DOOM, it's confirmed that whenever the Doom Slayer dies his soul goes to hell, and he can fight his way back out and revive himself. My theory is that when he died in Master Chief vs Doom Guy, his soul got transfer…
