Its the saddest freakin movie I've ever seen ... but sad in the Forrest Gump sense of the word (happy tears). Just a great movie (honestly - one of the best of the decade - but this year we've gotten a few of those).

I watched this movie and it was pure mediocre melodramatic garbage with a narrator that sounded like a drunk Keanu Reeves. At least that dance scene was top notch though.

I read the novela while on vacation and finished it on the plane ride home. Then, I watched this movie immediately after concluding the story while on the plane. Both were extraordinary, and have stuck with me.
