long shot you see this but, the middle room in the observatory you were describing sounds strikingly familiar to me and likely will to anyone who has played fall of cybertron. in the middle of the stealth mission theres an ancient star map and it looks a great deal how you described.

Yeah, personally I don't think the twinkle maps would be worth it in such a big space. I think it'd look better to just extend the crying obsidian and the window frames to make both look like intentional parts of the interior space, maybe do some more with the purple and black as a block color comb…
