Just because he calmed down in the end doesn’t justify him being a passive aggressive dick in the beginning. He could’ve lead with what he said the end next time

Let's talk to the dad, not the kid. I get it's your land, you can do what you want, but that was harsh to the kid. He was probably just lost, and anyway, he said he'd leave, but you kept going and even mocked his stepdad.
